Landscape Forms has relaunched SHUFFLE, a modular infrastructure system that consolidates Wi-Fi, cameras, sensors, two-way communications and EV-charging capabilities into one vertical pole. The company says the system is aimed at public spaces where site functionality is increasing, space is at a premium and visual clutter is a concern.
Landscape Forms frames the relaunch as a response to rising customer expectations. Municipalities, campuses and commercial developers are adding single-purpose pole sensors, cameras, lighting and connectivity equipment, the company says, and are looking for ways to expand site functionality without adding visual clutter or additional cost. SHUFFLE is intended to meet that need by combining advanced capabilities in one adaptable system.
The system stacks modular components that can be customized and updated as site needs evolve. Landscape Forms says the integrated design is meant to bring modern aesthetics and efficiencies to busy, multi-use environments. SHUFFLE can be configured for specialized environments and general public spaces, according to the company. A new build feature on the Landscape Forms website lets clients specify preferred camera and technology brands and choose among options within each.
Plug-and-play updates
New feature updates include options designed for plug-and-play simplicity: a 360-degree area light, a decorative light ring, a 180-degree area light, quad-view and 180-degree cameras, motion sensors, and loudspeaker and intercom modules. Landscape Forms says the modular components are easy to activate and install, and the system is designed to be updated as a site’s needs change.
Public-space applications
Landscape Forms lists university and business campuses, airports and commuting hubs, shopping malls and tourist areas, concert halls, city parks, sports venues and hospitals as potential settings. In those places, the company says, SHUFFLE’s multi-use adaptability and communication features can help site managers address a range of requirements.
Shannon Lee, Business Development Manager for Smart Poles at Schréder, described SHUFFLE as a solution for site designers. She said the system was designed to fit busy public spaces with product and feature sets that can be updated as site needs evolve. Lee also said safety and connectivity are integrated into outdoor spaces without dominating them, making the system accessible and user-friendly.
Jordan Agustin, President of Lighting at Landscape Forms, said SHUFFLE represents technology and design working together to make outdoor spaces safer and smarter without compromising aesthetics. He said new features integrated into the streamlined design enhance the beauty and functionality of outdoor space while advancing the company’s mission of connecting people to the outdoors and to each other.
The relaunch positions SHUFFLE as a configurable option for sites that want to add digital and electrical services without multiplying poles or devices. The company presents the system as adaptable, simplified to configure and integrated in design.
