Packaging distributor Rajapack UK has changed its name to RAJA UK, aligning the Bedfordshire supplier with the RAJA Group’s brand across Europe. The company said it supplies more than 43,000 UK businesses and has done so since 1998.
RAJA Group was founded in France in 1954 by Rachel Marcovici and Janine Rocher. The group takes its name from the founders’ first names. It now serves 19 European countries, and the UK name change is intended to give customers one recognisable brand across those markets.
Same operations, new brand
Tom Rodda, managing director of RAJA UK, said the name had changed but the elements customers rely on had not. He cited the same people, the same product range and the same next-day service. Rodda also said that with peak trading only weeks away, the company had made planning easier through a free tool that puts a number on the cost of the busiest weeks.
Free peak-cost estimator
The Prepare for Peak tool is being offered alongside the rebrand. It is designed to help businesses estimate what peak will cost their packing operation, and what they could save, ahead of Black Friday on 27 November.
Users select their industry to see how far orders typically rise at peak. The benchmarks combine Office for National Statistics retail data with RAJA order data from 2023 to 2025. Users then enter their own figures, such as parcels per day and the number of people packing.
RAJA UK said the tool provides an illustrative estimate rather than a quote. That distinction matters for companies using the output for planning: the result is a guide to potential peak costs and savings, not a binding price or a guarantee of savings.
The rebrand and the tool reflect two linked commercial priorities. The name change consolidates the UK business under the group identity used in other European markets. The planning tool addresses the immediate pressure of peak trading, when order volumes rise and packing operations must decide how to staff and resource the busiest weeks.
For existing customers, RAJA UK says the operational offer remains unchanged. The company is presenting the rebrand as a change of name rather than a change in service, product range or next-day delivery arrangement. The free tool adds a planning resource for businesses preparing for the Black Friday period.
The Prepare for Peak output is based on two inputs: sector-level benchmarks and company-specific figures. By selecting an industry, a user can see a typical peak uplift; by entering parcels per day and packing headcount, the user can translate that pattern into an illustrative cost for their own operation. RAJA UK positions the result as a planning aid rather than a quotation.
